Federico Fiermonte is a designer and artist from Rome, since 2021 based in Helsinki, Finland.

He is passionate about arts and design in their different expressions and performances. Experimentation with materials plays a key role in its practice, bringing materials such as ceramics, concrete, and metals to their limits in his projects.

His formation is international and took place between Northern Italy, Germany and Finland; training at Läufer+Keichel studio in Berlin (2017) and at the GamFratesi studio in Copenhagen (2019), to then join the EOOS Next one in Vienna (2020).

The projects touched within these Design Studios allowed Federico to be involved in works for clients such as Hermès, Kristalia, DePadova, Poltrona Frau, Acqua di Parma, Harlan+Holden, Minotti, Orgreen, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and more.

He has collaborated with the Paimio Sanatorium Foundation for its promotion at the Venice Biennale 2023 and its 90-year celebration as the first masterpiece from Alvar Aalto.

Since September 2022, he works as assistant at the 3D printing workshop of Aalto University and has been assisting Simo Puintila it the Faculty’s main product design course: Product & Form.
