Canova Table
The Canova table takes its name from the village where it was built, in northern Tuscany.
It is completely made of solid wood, Canaletto walnut from North America. Its thickness is 5 cm making it an imposing and solid table. The whole building process has been carried out by hand with few tools and a final washing of shellac.
The table has still rough and simply smoothed edges and crepes have been stopped/fixed with wooden butterflies, as well as every other piece of the table.
The absence of metal parts highlights the organic nature of the element, showing its value and preciousness.
Legs are fixed in a way that makes them firmly attached to the top, but removable for an easier transportation.
